Aleksei's work has a unique sense of humour and he creates dream like worlds inhabited by a cast of little monsters and patterns that come from his subconscious mind. His influences include Russian illustrators and animators and Tove Jansson and the Moomin Trolls. -

Alex is also the creator of the delightful fiction series Claude, about a little dog's adventures with his sidekick, Sir Bobblysock, soon to be animated for Disney Junior. -

Angie Rozelaar
Angie is based in the Normandy countryside where she shares an old farmhouse with her family, four cats and two rescue donkeys. She works from her studio in a converted hayloft and using all sorts of materials to create her illustrations, including watercolour crayons, gouache, and a computer. Angie has illustrated picture books for Bloomsbury, Campbell, Egmont and Hodder. She is currently working on the first picture book that she has also written which will be published next year by Harper Collins US. Angie's work has been licensed onto cards, mugs, napkins and other products. She is the artist behind the art brand Planet Cat - see the brand section NEWEST IMAGES ARE ON PAGE 2 -
Anna Chernyshova
Anna Chernyshova graduated from Cambridge School of Art's prestigious MA in Children's Book Illustration in 2015. Anna's little daughter constantly inspires her illustrations Anna takes her inspiration from Soviet and American illustrators of the 1920's to 50's. She's also inspired by the world around her and loves to sketch the places, people and animals that she observes on a daily basis -

After many years working as an in-house artist for the greetings card industry she has now established herself as a freelance illustrator. She caters for all styles, from fluffy and sweet to trendy and contemporary. The aim of Cally's work is to make people smile, with her cute characters, sweet artwork and bright colours. -

Catherine Rowe
Catherine works with scraperboard, creating detailed black & white designs (such is the nature of the medium) which are then coloured digitally. Catherine is hugely influenced by late 19th to early 20th century decorative arts including works by the likes of William Morris, Josef Frank and Walter Crane. Catherine's work tends to have a baseline of a traditional and almost formal Victorian style, but has a bit of a playful, vibrant and contemporary edge! Her design Palace Gardens recently won a competition to be a new Liberty print. -
