Glasgow Boys - new Scottish gallery opening

A brand new gallery dedicated to works by the Glasgow Boys opens to the public at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum this weekend, 22nd October 2011. The Kelvingrove gallery features more than 60 paintings from Glasgow's collection taken from the whole career of the group and follows the outstanding success of the Pioneering Painters:The Glasgow Boys 1880-1900 exhibition which was seen by more than 243,000 people at Kelvingrove and the Royal Academy in London.
